Privacy notice

Nauteda BV ("Nauteda", "we", "our") trades precious metals, base metals, petroleum products, and industrial chemicals internationally. This notice describes what personal data we collect through nauteda.com, why we hold it, and what rights you have in respect of it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We hold as little personal data as the work requires and we do not sell or share it for marketing purposes.

1. Who we are

Nauteda BV, Waaier 32, 2451 VW Leimuiden, The Netherlands. Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 91791448, VAT number NL865772162B01. We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice.

2. What we collect, and why

The only personal data nauteda.com collects is what you submit yourself through the contact form: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), the commodity you are interested in (optional), and your message. We process this data to respond to your inquiry, which is a legitimate interest of ours in reaching potential trade partners (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) and, where your message leads to a quote or contract, a necessary step in forming that contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).

We do not run a client portal or accounts on this site, and we do not ask for or store payment details, identity documents, or uploaded files through nauteda.com.

3. How your message reaches us

When you submit the contact form, its content is sent by email to our inbox at info@nauteda.com using Resend, a transactional email provider that acts as our processor for this purpose (GDPR art. 28). Resend transmits the message on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. We do not store form submissions in a database.

4. Cookies

nauteda.com does not set cookies and does not load analytics, advertising, or social-media trackers. If that changes, we will update this notice and add a cookie notice where the law requires one.

5. How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages, and the email thread that follows, for 24 months after our last exchange with you, so that we can pick up an ongoing conversation. We delete them after that unless a business relationship follows, in which case any resulting order, invoice, or shipping record is kept for 7 years as Dutch tax law requires.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, and object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability where it applies. Write to info@nauteda.com to exercise any of these rights; we respond within one month and never charge a fee for a reasonable request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). We would prefer that you write to us first so we can put the matter right.

7. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when what we collect or how we process it changes. The "last reviewed" date at the top is the change marker.
